French DJ David Guetta can always be counted on to provide a blazing-hot summer dance record. And, since it's officially shorts-chafing weather, it's about time he delivered.
After several sneak peeks, the full-length "'Where Them Girls At" video has finally dropped, and it hits up all the classic "big summer smash video" marks that a big summer-smash video should. We've got hot girls in bikinis, a luxe pool resort chock full of fruity drinks with umbrellas (jellis!) and a classic supernatural subplot line (somewhat reminiscent of our fifth favorite thing about Britney's "I Wanna Go" video) -- only in this case, it's a magic air bubble that makes the hot girls dance uncontrollably. Oh, and then there's Flo Rida and Nicki Minaj who infinitely raise the video's summer-smash ranking.
The video begins at the pool, darlings, where we see Flo Rida scoping out the "merch" and setting his sights on the hottest chick there. Somehow, the supernatural bubble is cognizant of this and floats towards his girl of choice. Perplexed, she stares at it for a while and then decides to pop it, not knowing she'll be overtaken by its contents and be forced to dance to the music (read: flail about).
The magic bubble then floats a little more, targeting other hot girls, and making a brief pit stop at David Guetta's location, which is, unsurprisingly, atop the highest building in the city. Guetta seems to be unaffected by the bubble, so it decides to make its way to the underground club where Nicki and her entourage of shirtless male models are chillin'. Nicki, in a leopard-print hat, also seems unaffected by the bubble's power, so it leaves the club and once again hits the streets. That bubble's got MOXIE!
Next thing we know, the video cuts back to Guetta as he's DJ'ing on top of the building. We soon learn that it's actually not a supernatural agent but rather DJ Guetta who is responsible for the mystical bubbles. We should've known!
